Watching English videos on the Internet is an excellent way to improve your English. Although there is a lot of junk on the various video platforms, there are also some interesting things to be found.

In addition to the well-known platforms like YouTube or Vimeo you may want to consider the following sites:

VideoJug - Life Explained. On Film.

Interesting and entertaining videos with which you can learn how to pull a tablecloth from under a dinner service, how to moonwalk, or how to clean your toilet with coke.

TED - Ideas Worth Spreading

Inspired talks by the world's greatest thinkers and doers (suitable only for advanced learners). Just browse the various topics to find something that interests you. Most of the videos have subtitles.

What do you think: do schools kill creativity?

Last Week Tonight (HBO)

An American late-night talk and news satire television program hosted by comedian John Oliver.

Some of my favourite videos: FIFA and the world cup and Standardized Testing.
